Red berries give a tart, juicy, jammy fruit start, while cardamom and pepper add a dry, aromatic spice that stops the berries from tasting like candy. The heart has just two entries: jasmine, a rich white floral, and Sugary, a collective term pointing to a sugar-like, spun-sweet effect rather than one named material. The fruit, spice and sugar all meet in the middle, with jasmine softening the edges.
Oakmoss, vanilla and Dry Woods make the base. Vanilla is creamy and sweet, oakmoss is damp, green, bitter and earthy, and Dry Woods is a general term for a parched, pencil-shaving type of wood. The contrast between sweet vanilla and bitter oakmoss is the key feature of the list. The likely arc is sweet and dry at once: fruity and sugary early on, then increasingly woody and mossy, with vanilla keeping the Oriental label in view.
