Placed in the Woody and Musk families by the brand, Belgravia from Maison Asrar sets bergamot and blackcurrant above sandalwood and caramel, with vetiver and cedarwood in the base.
Notes as Maison Asrar lists them on its website, read on 24 October 2026.
How does Maison Asrar Belgravia smell?
Tartness leads: bergamot and lemon give the zest, while blackcurrant adds a sharp, slightly jammy fruitiness that keeps the opening from being merely bright and gives it some body. In the heart, lily of the valley and freesia bring a clean, dewy floral lift, sandalwood supplies creamy wood, and caramel is the surprise, adding a burnt-sugar warmth that should round the sandalwood without making the whole thing sugary.
Vetiver, cedarwood, moss and musk make a dry, green-woody base. Vetiver is rooty and slightly smoky, cedarwood is pencil-shaving dry, moss is cool and damp, and musk softens the edges. What emerges is a tidy contrast: bright fruit and flowers on top, a hint of caramel in the centre and a firm, earthy foundation, which matches the Woody and Musk family words.

What Maison Asrar's own page says about Belgravia
Maison Asrar's product page for Belgravia gives its family as woody and musk.
It also puts words of its own on three of the notes: bergamot (citrus, fresh, elegant), vetiver (woody, earthy, deep) and musk (soft, sensual).
The label in the shop's photo of Belgravia reads Royal Collection.
The note list on FragranceGems' own product page names nothing that this list lacks.
