Mandarin and ginger give a juicy, zesty, mildly spicy opening, and an ambery touch is already present at the very top, which is uncommon. The heart pairs rose and jasmine, both full-bodied florals, with leather, whose dry, tanned character stops the flowers from turning soft. Ambery appears again here, so the warm resinous glow acts as a thread connecting the top to the middle and keeps the florals from reading as purely sweet.
